Lily Allen has announced that she will hit the road in September for her first North American tour in five years. The British pop singer is touring in support of her new album Sheezus, which was released to much critical fanfare on May 6 by Warner Bros. Records. The album has peaked at No. 1 on iTunes in six countries, including the U.K., at No. 2 on iTunes in seven countries, including the U.S., and is Top 10 on iTunes in a total of 20 countries.
Miley’s BANGERZ TOUR has received rave reviews since it launched earlier this year with Entertainment Weekly saying “Grade A: She Bangz!” and USA Today declaring the show has “…sass and showmanship.” Miley is also taking her BANGERZ TOUR to NBC for a two-hour concert special “MILEY CYRUS: BANGERZ TOUR” airing this Sunday, July 6 from 9-11 PM ET/PT.

Global superstar Miley Cyrus announced today the details of her rescheduled U.S. BANGERZ TOUR, which will resume on August 1 at Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, NY. The new schedule includes all previously cancelled and postponed dates, as well as two additional dates in Pittsburgh and Chicago.Miley Cyrus will play Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte on August 6. Tickets will go on sale Friday, May 2 at 10 am at LiveNation.com, the Time Warner Cable Arena box office, all Ticketmaster outlets or charge by phone at 1-800-745-3000.Please Note: Tickets for the cancelled April concert have been refunded and will not be valid for the new date in August.This 9-city leg of the North American tour is in support of Miley’s album Bangerz, which debuted at #1 on both the Billboard Top 200 Album chart and the Digital Album Charts with over 270,000 albums sold. Both singles, “Wrecking Ball” and “We Can’t Stop,” off Bangerz have already sold 4.3 million copies in the U.S. alone. “Wrecking Ball” hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and stayed there for two weeks. It became Miley’s first Billboard Hot 100 #1 and her fastest-flying Top 10 on Radio Songs.
